During the March 14th, 2023 Madison County Council meeting, the Board of Commissioners requested $1,010,310.00 new money to fund 3 ARPA proposals.
The council approved $225,000.00 to provide a temporary Public Defender to address CHINS Court backlog.
A motion was made to approve $785,310.00 for the remaining two proposals. The motion failed 3-3, and the issue was postponed until our next meeting.
A special meeting has been called for March 28th, 2023.
